Popular Colorbond roof colours in Melbourne
Most of the roofs I coat across Melbourne land on a handful of colours. Monument is the clear favourite right now, a deep charcoal that sharpens up any brick. Woodland Grey and Basalt sit beautifully in leafy eastern streets, and Surfmist earns its keep on hot north-facing roofs because it reflects heat instead of soaking it in. If your home is cream or red brick, a mid grey like Dune or Shale Grey usually ties the whole facade together.
Recolouring happens as part of a Colorbond roof restoration or a full roof restoration, where I clean, repair and recoat the roof properly rather than just painting over problems. Not sure which colour suits your place? Book a free inspection and I will bring real Colorbond samples so you can check them against your bricks in daylight.
